Ingredients

The set includes three 70g test tubes with the basic types of Kampot pepper.

Each type differs in taste and aroma, which you can hardly find in pepper bought from regular supermarkets.

Black Kampot pepper after grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peels. These gradually blend into a seaside aroma with evolving fruity notes. The dominant aroma is that of peach and nectarine, which is accompanied by the scents of pine and the earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil rich in minerals.

Rare Red Kampot pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with a softer spiciness. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherry tones. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines, and a more earthy crust of sourdough bread.

White Kampot pepper is a gentle yet still peppery caress for the taste buds. After grinding it, aromas of camphor, sage, and cedar wood emerge, accompanied by a subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and Black tea.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. On the other hand, larger fragments will impart the dish with more of the specific exotic notes of Kampot pepper.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the unruly beads into the chamber straight from the package, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, do not forget your Grinder to clean regularly. However, never use water or chemical preparations for this purpose. A cloth will do, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep Grinder away from the sink and handle it carefully when operating over steam.

Material

Grinder is made of high-quality sandblasted ash wood, which stands out with its unique color and grain.

It is complemented by the metal part of the mill body, thanks to which it will serve you forever. You can choose between a black and a natural-colored mill.

Pepper is stored in glass test tubes made of beautiful Czech glass, and the entire set in a wooden box on which engraving can be done according to your wishes. We did not choose these packages by chance. Not only do they look beautiful, but they are also made in the Czech Republic and all are from sustainable material that can be easily recycled or upcycled.

Milking mechanism

Inside the grinder, there are two ceramic CeraCut® mechanisms.

This is a technology developed in Germany that ensures that pepper and salt will always be ground to absolute perfection. The grind setting can be adjusted on each grinder, while the mechanism is capable of grinding peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.
