Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder there is the ceramic grinding mechanism CeraCut®.

This technology, developed in Germany, guarantees that the pepper and salt will always be crushed with absolute perfection. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted on each grinder, with the mechanism capable of crushing peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the grind for pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of pepper will be. On the contrary, larger fragments impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the loose beads into the chamber straight from the package, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. Also, do not forget your Grinder clean regularly. Never use water or chemical preparations for that. A cloth is enough, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep your Grinder away from the sink and handle it carefully when exposed to steam.

Materials

For the manufacture of this grinder we used acacia wood with a perfect grain, which will become an accent of every kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we have left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective varnish. We have combined the wood with stainless steel, which guarantees the grinder's extreme durability that will last forever when properly cared for. Each Grinder has a different wood grain and each one is unique!
