We chose the color of the grinders so that you always know immediately which one to grab if you need to grind black, red, or white Kampot pepper into your food.

Our natural grinders are designed to become an ornament in your kitchen as well. Their shape is designed to fit perfectly in any hand and not slip. The head is pleasant to grip and provides perfect feedback from the grinding mechanism hidden inside the grinder. Create an uncompromising set with which you can grind every grain of pepper and every crystal of salt. You can also order a stand for the grinders made of premium walnut wood with the set.

This set also includes three basic Package varieties of Kampot pepper, namely black, red, and white. They differ from each other in taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper when ground releases tones of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the aroma of lime peel. These gradually transition into a coastal aroma with developing fruity notes. Dominant is the aroma of peach and nectarine, accompanied by the scent of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with milder spiciness. Initially, tones of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and a more earthy crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle yet still peppery caress of the taste buds. When ground, it develops aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by the subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can taste tones of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underlined by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

The heart of the grinder is the ceramic grinding mechanism CrushGrind®

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly in 14 degrees of coarseness. The entire patented mechanism comes with a 25-year warranty, giving you the assurance that this grinder will last.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the unruly peppercorns directly from the package into the chamber, and use a spoon or funnel to help. Also, remember to clean your grinder regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth, a brush, and a drop of olive oil are sufficient. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful with its operation over steam.

Materials

All three mills are made from selected natural wood.

Specifically from black-brown ash, brown walnut, and light oak. Each mill has a unique wood grain and also a special surface finish, which ensures that each one will last you for many decades.
