Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the far south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, enables local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. It is no coincidence that this pepper has received a protected geographical designation, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions that ensure a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders as well.
Thanks to this, by purchasing from us you obtain not only pepper of the highest quality, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and ethically responsible product that helps provide its producers with medical care and education for their children

Characteristic

White pepper is a gentle, yet consistently peppery caress of the taste buds.

After it is ground, it unfolds out camphor, sage, and cedar wood, accompanied by a delicate aroma of musk flower, grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, with thyme and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Processing

White pepper is a specialty made from fully ripe red peppercorns.

They are then dried on direct sunlightand are soaked again, so that it becomes possible to remove the red skin, leaving only the creamy white peppercorn.

Thanks to the careful selection that meets the stringent quality requirements of Kampot pepper, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the finest peppercorns are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed to ensure that quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to their diverse taste, aroma, and spiciness, the different types of pepper are suitable for various purposes. White pepper is ideal for light meat.

It will be excellently complemented by the flavor of seafood, it pairs well with risotto, creamy soups and its flavor is not lost even when combined with a good paste. The finer you grind the Kampot pepper, the more intense the spiciness will be, on the other hand, larger fragments or whole peppercorns will lend the dish more specific notes of pepper.

Package

Thanks to the materials used and the special bag sealing technology, air and moisture do not reach the pepper.

Thanks to this, the grains even after opening the bag retain authentic taste and aroma Kampot pepper. After emptying, you can, as part of sustainability, upcycle and continue to use them in a variety of other ways. We pack the pepper into resealable bags with a capacity of 20 to 1000 grams. Every Package also includes brochure that tells you the story the best pepper in the world and brings the world of .pepper..field. closer.

Awards

Quality is our top priority, as confirmed not only by the certificates that our pepper carries, but also by the awards it has gathered from international competitions.

Among the most significant are the awards given to our pepper as part of the competition Great Taste, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of gastronomy.

However, sustainability is also important to us, and we do not treat it merely as empty words, as evidenced by the SDG’s award granted to truly sustainable and socially responsible projects.
