Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the very south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, enables local farmers to produce pepper of vübec the highest quality in the world. It's no coincidence that this pepper has received a protected geographical designation, similar to French champagne. From small family farms, we purchase pepper for direct trade conditions that guarantee a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders. Thanks to this, when you purchase from us you receive not only the highest quality pepper, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps ensure its producers medical care and education for their children.

Characteristic

Rare dark red Kampot pepper unleashes an explosion of fruity tones in the mouth accompanied by a subtler spiciness.

Dark red peppercorns initially release fragrant tones of blood oranges, cranberries, and elderberries, supported by distinctive notes of cedar and lemon balm with a subtle hint of tobacco leaves. After a while, the heart of the dark red pepper begins to emerge, reminiscent of leavened dough, new spices along with roasted malt. It is a very dense aroma that gradually transitions into black Assam tea, and in the finish, cedar notes reappear.

Processing

Dark red pepper can literally be called a selection of berries. It consists of meticulously selected red grains that achieve the highest color saturation of their husk.

It truly reveals a high fructose content and a unique flavor profile of these grains that you will love.

Thanks to the careful selection corresponding to the exacting requirements for the quality of Kampot pepper, established by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best seeds are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed so that the quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to the high fructose content, which gives red pepper an intense fruity flavor, this pepper can be experimented with when mixing drinks or preparing sweet pastries.

Give it room during Christmas baking, perfectly accentuate the flavor with it fish or poultry meat. And surprise your guests with its refined taste and aroma.

The more finely you grind Kampot pepper, the more intense the spiciness will be, on the other hand, larger fragments or whole grains release more specific pepper notes to the dish.

Package

Thanks to the materials used and the special packet-sealing technology, air and moisture do not reach the pepper.

Thanks to this, the seeds even after opening the packet retain authentic taste and aroma Kampot pepper. After emptying, you can also, as part of sustainability, upcycle and continue to use them in a variety of other ways. We pack the pepper in reclosable packets with a volume of 20 to 1000 grams. Each Package also includes a brochure that brings you the story of the best pepper in the world and brings the world closer .pepper..field.
